Synula Interior Design & Architectural Photography + Film
Synula is the work of photographer and filmmaker Vladimir Kalugin, creating editorial photography and film for interiors, architecture, and hospitality.
The work is about more than documenting a finished space. It is about capturing the light, materials, details, and atmosphere that make it feel the way it does in person.
The goal is to create images that make people want to step inside, look closer, and imagine themselves there.
Based in South Florida. Available throughout United States.
Editorial photography for interior designers, architects, builders and hospitality spaces in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach, and beyond.

Interior, Architectural & Hospitality Photography Services
Editorial interior photography for designers and studios, created to show the character of a space through its design, light, materials, furnishings, and details. Every image is composed to reveal not only how the space looks, but how it feels to be there.
Architectural photography for architects and builders, capturing the form, structure, materials, details, and relationship between the building and its surroundings.
Hospitality photography for hotels, restaurants, resorts, and other hospitality spaces, capturing the design, atmosphere, and experience of the space.
Photography that invites you in.
More than a photograph.
A photograph can show you a space. The right photograph can make you imagine what it would be like to experience it.
That is what I look for when I photograph a space.
I take time to walk through it, understand how it is meant to be experienced, and notice what gives it character. The way a room unfolds, where the eye naturally settles, the quality of the light, the texture of a material, or a small detail that might otherwise go unnoticed.
I then use composition, perspective, and light to translate those observations into an image.
The goal is to create photographs that leave room for the viewer’s imagination. Images that don’t simply show you a space, but invite you to experience it in your own way.
Meet Vladimir
Photographer & Filmmaker
Imagery has been part of Vladimir’s life for as long as he can remember. What began as an early fascination with cameras grew into a lifelong pursuit of understanding how an image can convey not just what a place looks like, but what it feels like to be there.
From photographing interiors and architecture to creating films of spaces, Vladimir brings the same curiosity to every project: understanding what makes a space, place, or story worth experiencing, and finding the images that bring that experience to life.
